Remembering Lowell

We say goodbye to one of Imperial Industries longtime employees, Lowell Strey. Lowell passed away this past weekend.

Lowell started with Imperial in 1983, and held the Industrial Division Sales Manager position for many years. Lowell was very well known in the dry bulk industry as a man who would do business on a handshake, and would do anything to make a customer happy. Lowell had a knack for making every Imperial customer feel like a friend. This also applied to his co-workers and his employees.

Winding down his career was difficult for him, as he loved his work with Imperial and his customers. Lowell moved from full time employment to part time in 2015 and fully retired in 2017. His legacy does continue as there are still calls from customers looking for his services.

The Imperial Family will miss his humor and friendship, we extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends.
